I updated my start9 this morning to Knots 29.3. However I no longer have the Bitcoin Knots plus BIP 110 descriptor as before. When I look in market place under BIP 110 is says installed against Bitcoin Knots 29.2 Knots 2025110. Does that mean BIP 110 is now incorporated in to Knots 29.3 or I have to install BIP 110 again?

Unfortunately, StartOS 0.3.5.1 confuses all node implementations as the same (supposedly this will be fixed in 0.4.0). When you upgraded, you overwrote the BIP 110 client with the latest Bitcoin Knots client. Start9 will show Installed whether you look at Bip110, Knots, or Core, since it cannot tell them apart at the OS level.
One option would be to simply wait for Dathon to update the BIP110 client with the latest Knots version (he is quite prolific, so I doubt this will take him very long). Otherwise, you would need to “downgrade” (from StartOS’s perspective). I’ve not ever downgraded a service before, but presumably the process in this case will be the same as when switching from Core to Knots or from Knots to the BIP 110 client. You would put Start9 into dev mode, then go to the BIP110 registry and use the Reinstall button (which will probably be labeled as “Downgrade” IIRC). It will then give you an error that the reinstall/downgrade failed, but (if it matches the other process) this error is a false positive and the switch should be successful.
Plus the icon will probably not update. If the icon has switched to the vanilla Knots icon and you want to get the BIP110 icon back, you can open the dev tools for the browser, then right-click the refresh button and choose Empty Cache and Hard Reload. This step is not necessary, though, only cosmetic.
Looks like Dathan has already published 29.3. So the process will be:
Click the Manage header 5 times to enable dev mode
Go to the BIP110 registry, Bitcoin tab
Open Bitcoin Knots plus BIP-110
Click Reinstall
You’ll get the failure message, probably. Just ignore it. Open the Config page and click Save.
And if you want the icon to update, do the Empty Cache and Hard Reload option I mentioned in my last post.
