Thanks to Paul’s excellent YT video I have been able to setup my own Start9 Node with Knots, Electrs, Mempool running smoothly and a Sparrow Wallet setup as a client to Electrs via a TOR link also running smoothly.
In short, I am now at a point where I would like to run multiple bi-directional BTC test transactions between my Sparrow wallet and Coldcard-Q for the purpose of getting comfortable with the software and hardware which is totally new to me. Numbered below are the no-kyc BTC funding options I am considering and I would appreciate any opinions:
#1 Install an app named BISQ on my Start9 Node for the purpose of buying $50-$100 of no-kyc BTC. Has anybody out there run BISQ on a Start9 Node and does it work for buying such a small amount?
#2 Use Hodl-Hodl to buy $50-$100 of no-kyc BTC. Again, has anybody tried Hodl-Hodl for buying such a small amount of no-kyc BTC and does it work?
#3 Is Sparrow’s Testnet4 feature a possible solution? I Googled it and it says this feature is used by developers for testing their BTC apps. However, it is not clear to me if I can used it for test BTC transactions. Has anybody out there tried Sparrows Testnet4 feature shown in the screenshot below?
Any advice welcome.
