I notice you have been creating a lot of services for pruned nodes.
I am confused about which of the services in your marketplace would be good for a full node, and if there is a Blake2b only wallet that we should be using?
I am currently solo mining using a bitcoin address from the sparrow wallet on my pre-RDTS start9 server. I’m looking for a Blake2b wallet that can live on my Blake2b Start9 server.
No, I think they got rid of the Webtop version of Sparrow in StartOS 0.4.0.x. I could try and build one if you think it would be useful. I’d have to look into why they got rid of it though (to make sure there wasnt a security concern or something).
Normally you install sparrow on your PC or laptop, and connect it to your server via electrs or Fulcrum.
For a dedicated full-node server for BLAKE2b, your best bet is to use the services on the mempool.guide registry: https://start9.mempool.guide (add that as a custom registry, need to be on StartOS 0.4.0.x) Then you install from that registry:
Bitcoin Knots
Datum Gateway
Fulcrum
Mempool Guide
(and, if renting hashrate, HashGG from my registry)
Once Knots finishes the IBD, then start Fulcrum. Once Fulcrum finishes creating the index, then you can connect Sparrow BLAKE2b (or Shrike) to it.
You would only need to use my services if you are running a pruned node (such as if your server doesn’t have a large enough SSD drive). If that’s what you are doing, then to run a pruned node stack, you would install these instead from my registry:
Once Knots (BLAKE2b) Companion finishes the IBD, then start Electrs Pruned. Once Electrs Pruned finishes creating the index, then you can connect Sparrow BLAKE2b (or Shrike) to it.
That is very high. The average hashrate looks good, but you would want to make sure over time it is averaging something similar on the Datum Gateway dashboard.
The Webtop Sparrow for the new Start9 OS 0.4.0.1 came from a discussion in the Start9 community forum. I am not sure who authored the “https://registry.testnet4.info” registry. But, I am assuming it’s OK. because, start9 let it be posted on their community forum.
For my separate Hardfork server I used the registry suggested in a bitcoin university video on youtube. https://start9.mempool.guide/ (same as you suggested)
