After the Start9 poof last week I noticed the the Public Pool app is unreachable via port 3333.
You think it is ok to following the Public Pool Instructions to re-install simple proxy. It shouldn’t break the proxy for Datum correct?

I looked at the instructions section for Public Pool, and it should be safe to run those commands. The step that installs simple-proxy will probably throw a warning that it is already installed, but that won’t hurt anything.
The step that creates a service configuration calls it “simpleproxy.stratum.service” which is a different name than the service configuration that Datum Gateway uses (“simpleproxy.datum.service”). The ports are also different (Public Pool uses 3333, and Datum Gateway uses 23334). They should not conflict with each other.
Just wanted to be prepared to re-install the Start9OS again because exiting out of the ssh requires a reboot of the Start9. All is well… Public pool and Datum working fine.
Than you sir.
