Since I have been building a number of custom Start9 services, I decided to have them all available in a single location, which will eliminate the need to side-load, and will come with notifications when I publish updates. I don’t have all of my services listed yet, but the main ones are (and I’ll be adding the remaining ones over the next few days)
To add my registry, go to the Marketplace section, click “Change”, then “Add Custom Registry”. Enter one of the following URLs:
Paul attempting to download on start9 and it fails to complete, gets about 90% downloading then stops and gives the error “network error:error decoding response body”. I tried it a couple times with the same result, any settings I need to adjust here?
What device are you installing them onto? (in case there is an issue with an architecture)
How much RAM does your system have? How much free disk space? (in case of resource constraints)
What (if any) errors do you see?
Also, make sure you refresh the page (so that the lastest version is listed), because I prune old versions to save space (only one latest version is ever available to download, so if it tries an older version it will fail)
I have a Lenovo Thinkpad with 1.7TB to the virtual machine, 48GB RAM
Network Error: failed to download package from any mirror: https://start9.paulscode.com/s9pk/forktower-0.6.12-040.s9pk: Network Error: error decoding response body: error reading a body from connection: end of file before message length reached;
Yes, that is the previous version (0.6.12) that it is trying to download. Can you do a hard refresh on the market page, and see if it tries to download the latest (0.6.13)?
It may be something to do with your browser or the network itself. You might be able to determine which by attempting to do the installation from a different device (say your phone). That would rule out anything old cached in the browser tripping it up.
If that doesn’t work, then I would try (if you haven’t already) shutting down all of your services in reverse order of their dependencies on each other, and then click the menu in the top-right to Restart your server. Once it boots back up, see if you can install the apps while everything else is stopped.
Great making first back up of 0.4 startos. Afterwards I’ll try again. Agent wallet acting up as well. One last problem I’m having is an wallet balance error from old wasabi wallet to new sabi wallet. Old legacy wasabi woun’t open, I realized I hadn’t backed up the wallet. I used the seed to restore on Sabi, had wrong balance though, tried to change from 21 to 100, keeps running haven’t seen new attempt to show correct balance…any suggestions would be appreciated.. Ducked coldcard bullet, now trying to recover from 0.35 to 0.4 before bip110 activation
