Moving funds between wallets after the BIP-110 soft fork

Hi Paul. I’m running Knots version v29.2.knots20251110 (pre-BIP110) as the stock Win 10 app, no Start9 yet. I have a Trezor Safe7 coming but it will arrive after the BIP100 date. I need to move funds around ASAP. Do you think there will be any issues completing the transactions post fork? I’d rather not do anything until the wallet breach dust settles, but I do need to get my funds off the Trezor T and onto the Safe 7, and then later the Seedsigner. Thanks, John

These hardware wallets only hold your private key. You don’t need to “move your funds around” if the original private key you created and stored in your Trezor T is fine. You can just put the same 12 or 24 word seed phrase in your new hardware wallet and call it a day.

More info: I’ll import the Trezor T seed into the Safe7 so both will be able to see all wallets including any hidden wallets. The “moving funds” parts comes in because I’ll be using a Bitbox (instead of the Seedsigner) for a separate hidden wallet without having access to any other funds. I can create a new seed in Bitbox and send those funds from the Safe7 to it. I’m not explaining it well, but do you know what I mean?
