Hi Paul (or anyone who might remember this mod),
I recently stumbled across an old utility mod called Speedbuilders haxx that appears to have been created by Paul. I only have a copy of the mod built for Minecraft 1.9, but I’m currently working with 1.8.9, which is a bit more compatible nowadays.
While running the 1.9 version, I saw this message in the console, which is actually how I rediscovered the mod and ended up on this website:
[09:01:33] [Client thread/INFO] [FML]: Forge Mod Loader has successfully loaded 4 mods
[09:01:33] [Client thread/INFO]: Reloading ResourceManager: Default, FMLFileResourcePack:Forge Mod Loader, FMLFileResourcePack:Minecraft Forge, FMLFileResourcePack:**Speedbuilder Haxx**
[09:01:34] [Client thread/INFO]: SoundSystem shutting down...

[09:01:34] [Sound Library Loader/INFO]: Starting up SoundSystem...
[09:01:34] [Thread-10/INFO]: Initializing LWJGL OpenAL
After some digging, I found a listing for the mod on OpenEye (OpenEye - Speedbuilder Haxx Minecraft mod by detectorcent), which confirms that a version for Minecraft 1.8.9 did exist:
speedbuilders-haxx-1.5.2.jar
(Released: 2019-05-27 for Minecraft 1.8.9)
Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to locate a download for that version. If anyone still has it or knows where it might be archived, I’d really appreciate a copy, and would love to test it out and make sure it’s preserved.
Thanks in advance!
