An interesting scenario has come to my attention.
If my peer channels are all using Core would that effectively cost me what is on those channels because of a forced closure from the peers?
Thoughts? Is there a defense against this?
EDIT: After a bit of digging LNL LSP (publicly stated support Knots w/bip 110) might be the only “safe” bet to insure my lightning node liquidity stays intact (LND) through the BIP-110 period. Right now I only have 1 channel (Megalith LSP) so I already have a single point of failure so I probably need to fix that anyways.
I don’t know about Core Lightning (what I use for OCEAN payouts) though…the peers I have cannot be controlled so I don’t know what happens there?
Since I have already made the decision to fight instead of sit on the sidelines and be safe I want to make ever effort to keep Lightning as part of my sovereignty.
