Hi. I saw Mechanic’s video yesterday where he appealed to nodes to disable RBF to buy more time for people with compromised Coldcard wallets to secure their funds.
I did so. Is it advisable?

It is a double edged sword. If enough nodes do it, then it will prevent the attacker from sniping a transaction from an impacted address. However, from what I’ve seen, the current attacks are not doing that, so it might actually hurt victims who catch their funds in the Mempool and want to claw them back before they confirm.
It is probably a moot point, either way, because I don’t think enough nodes are running Knots to actually block RBF’s (Core doesn’t have the option like Knots does).

If I disable RBF on my Knot node v29.2.knots20251110, does that disable RBF for my transactions? Or, can other nodes override it and enable RBF?
Your node would not transmit any RBF, so it would affect your transactions if you send them via your node. There are too many on-Knots nodes on the network for this to have any impact, so you can probably just re-enable it TBH since it isn’t doing anything practical.
