I’ve noticed the gateway continues to work but that the UI hangs with a message saying the server name (or address) cannot be found. It seems to happen when I use the VPN on my home pc. My node device is a separate mini pc and I’m running Start9 \ Knots \ Datum. The 2 devices are on the same local network but have their own cable directly into the router. Anyone seen something similar or have any idea what I can do about it?
I think the key clue is the VPN. My guess is that it routes out to the VPN, and the destination system that handles the request can’t reach your server (since it isn’t on your local network anymore)
Yup, seems to be the VPN settings. There is no option to exclude the local network from the VPN settings, despite many requests by customers to the vendor. At least the gateway still functions in the backgound. Something to bear in mind when the vpn is due an upgrade.
