DATUM (Blake2b) Companian 1.1.0

On Umbrel (umbrelOS 1.4.2), The Datum Blake2b Companion 1.1.0 installed successfully, but I get a blank “the website cannot be reached” message when I try to open the app.

Checked the logs and this error message is repeated a couple of times:

paulscode-datum-blake2b_gateway_1 | 2026-09-05 23:42:43.305 [ main] FATAL: Error reading config file. Check --help

Another thing came up. Tried to make changes in config, and after I pressed save this showed up:
"Errors Occurred

Error writing new config file (changes will be lost at restart)"

It was still there when I switched tabs, but got lost after I stopped and started the app again.

Try updating Knots first to the latest version, and then Datum. If you updated them in the opposite order, just restart Datum once both are on the latest version.

Sorry for taking so long to get there. Umbrel is a little quirky. Hopefully that is the last “tweak” to get these working.
