On Umbrel (umbrelOS 1.4.2), The Datum Blake2b Companion 1.1.0 installed successfully, but I get a blank “the website cannot be reached” message when I try to open the app.
Checked the logs and this error message is repeated a couple of times:

Try updating Knots first to the latest version, and then Datum. If you updated them in the opposite order, just restart Datum once both are on the latest version.

Not sure if it is just me experiencing this but I am unable to change the pool information in the “Datum Blake2b companion” app on Umbrel. I am unable to change the predefined setting pointing to oceans server. Am I missing something?
Update to the latest version and see if you still have a problem. Be sure to change the “Collaborative reward sharing” from “never” to either “require” or “prefer” (these config options are all connected).
The problem was that Datum Gateway hardcodes Oceans public key as the default, and Convoy has a different one that isn’t compatible. So unless you manually entered Convoy’s public key, it would fail to connect. Now I have change the default to Convoy’s public key, so it should work as long as the other settings are correct.
The latest version uses Convoy’s public key by default, so you shouldn’t need to change it. I just copied it from Retropex’s fork of Datum Gateway, but I assume it is on their website as well if you need it.
There was a change in the handshake protocol, which was causing pooled mining on Convoy to failover to lotto mining. This is fixed in the latest version of Datum Gateway (BLAKE2b) Companion.
Paul: ALl your Registry services are updated until right now: Is there a schematic for mining with all these companions (Convoy, etc.), and rent the hash from whoever on Start9 (soory, I don’t use Umbrel) which you could show the World on a new video?
