Some people are buying old Sia miners but I don’t think it’s a good idea to do anything just yet until everything’s finalized. I don’t think you need to do anything to prepare. Just wait until it’s released and then see where it stands and what’s required to mine it.
I personally am super excited for the PoW change and the difficulty adjustment. It’s like going back in time to the beginning of Bitcoin.
