No need to switch to Core. Just run a pre-RDTS version of Knots (anything BEFORE v29.3.knots20260508)

I have updated my start9 4.0 , the start9 apps seem to be working fine ,do I need to change datum setting because on the bitaxe I have this msg - You don’t have a share in the mining reward, is there a setting that needs adjusting
Most likely the IP to Datum Gateway might have changed (worth double checking – Go to Datum Gateway > Interfaces > Stratum Server and check if the IPv4 matches what you have configured on your BitAxe). I don’t think anything fundamental should have changed (on 0.3.5.1 it was also reachable via :23334 which it is also on 0.4.0.1)
I have this msg also, I looked it up at the time & it’s nothing to worry about. Just check that your mining sats are being paid.
I look at setting on the bitaxe and datum all seems the same, I am solo mining right now not in a pool, should I be on stratum v1 or v2 , not sure which one
Datum Gateway serves a Stratum v1 address. You should be able to see some information in the Datum Gateway interface to confirm that the bitaxe is connected and hashing properly.
thanks for the info, I may consider joining a pool, as I learn more about how to do it , and which pools are recommended for solo miners
