Are there plans to update Blake2b Companion before 10/31 so we can have a 29.4.3 node running by block 979,919? Many thanks Paul!
I’ve been asking in the Discord but I cant get a reply so I’ll ask you…
Does 29.4.3 need to be side-loaded or will it be available in the Start9 Custom Registry (start9.mempool.guide)?
Edit: I see a comment from the xbt live coverage that states -
Wait for the official download at bitcoinknots.org/files/29.x/29.4.3.knots20260508/. It wasn’t posted when we checked on Oct 27. Don’t run a build from anywhere else.
i dont have a concrete answer but because this change is important I think the custom registry is going to have the update before the coinbase maturity change is going to hit.

I was able to see it and install it from the registry shortly after the update was released. Not sure why you didnt see it there. Someone mentioned refreshing the browser might fix that
Yes, a problem with Start9 at least is that updates don’t show until the page is refreshed. I should submit a PR to fix that..
